It's the translation program that does that. I corrected the text size in V0.04 and V0.05. It's hard to set this up without being able to preview.

Also, you said it's hard without a preview... But can't you use RPGM's game preview to check after using the translation program? If I remember correctly it's the big green play button in the program.

The game is created in French on RPGMaker, the translation is created with another program with which I can't preview the game.

This can be improved to decrease the time and increase the amount of water recovered. Water can also be found by searching ruined houses (there are even different drinks).

In this version it's not introduced yet but if you go to the gamefag page, you'll see an explanation about the fact that the map is divided into 3Areas.

for now, the whole game is filled with basic zombies and basic gathering points but in V0.08, the 2nd area has been filled with rank 2 zombies and gathering points giving 2Xresources. This has been changed as Tier 2 gear has been added and there is a 3rd fighter.

I'm going to finish creating all the explorable regions in the 2nd area and then I'm going to move on to the 3rd and add the 4th fighter. I'm also going to add enemy survivors and you have a little explanation of who they are if you find Valerie (add in V0.07).

And none of the survivors will turn into zombies, but you'll have to find the rest of the zombie girls' family. Her sister and 2 daughters.

Unofficial version of the game with the Russian translation that has been added.

I didn't do it and I just received the files in the "data" folder with which I remade a win, mac and linux version. I haven't tested it.

PS : I don't know a single word of Russian so I can't tell you if this one is correct.

I have to agree about weapons.

I mean, you have wood... but you need somebody to craft you a stick to be used as a weapon... is the MC as brainless as the zombies are?

An axe that can chop a tree down, but cannot be used to chop limbs... a crowbar that can open jammed doors and crates, but not skulls... seriously?

And the point that it's because durability rules would have to be applied... "unbreakable" will do the trick.

Leveling system: engine default.

No, I'm not buying anymore that "game is still in early developement"; of course I don't know about your planning nor your schedule, but for an RPG game with this level of simplicity, 9 months are more than enough to get at least a propper leveling, inventory and fighting system.

Feel free to keep feeling acclaimed and being breastfed by all those "if the game has potential, it's enough for me", but I just want a "game" I can play and enjoy. This title is not one of those at all.

Good luck and all that stuff.

1. Just in case, I've already said several times that I don't have much time so the game will move slowly. If you want the game to progress faster, you have to contribute. More contribution = I leave the house less to go to work.
2. Have you ever seen a real crowbar used to open doors or a fireman's axe? These are very large and very heavy, no way to use in a fight. A firefighter to be hired goes through a fairly important physical test and this is just to see if they are able to use the tools or equipment they have.
3. Have you seen 1 person in The Walking Dead (for example) use 1 stick to fight zombies? Apart from Morgan who met a person who spent several weeks making him a fighting stick...
4. The game works with 2 item systems. those for gathering and exploration, and then those for combat. Did you know that the Vikings found it dishonorable to fight with an axe used to chop wood? To them, an axe and a battle axe were not the same thing.
5. Also, giving unbreakable weapons from the beginning of the game is a real nonsense.
6. The leveling system has been changed. The basic leveling is completely different.
7. The subscribestar and buymeacoffee pages have just been opened, and the Patreon was reopened in January. If you had followed my accounts a little more, my 1st Patreon page was banned in July and the condition for my return was to release a new project as soon as possible.
8. V0.06 in 9 months while there is a new version every month... well yes because by contributing, you can see what's added in V0.09, for 1€, you have access to V0.07 to put your fingers in the zombies girl and for more, you can have access to V0.08 for vaginal relations with her.
9. This game is created using only resources that I have created completely. Each NPC skin in 2d and 3d or the appearance of certain items on the map (Fruit Tree, Weight Machine, Important Building Logo, Bloodstains,....) + the codes that make the game work (die and respawn of zombies, the time system that works on all regions at the same time, the planting system,...). It takes a few days to create a 3D animation. I don't cheat with AI, another game, or using the animations section of the site.
10. "a RPG game with this level of simplicity" :LOL::ROFLMAO: So you're able to reproduce the code that handles zombies? (not copy and paste). Small hint, this code must be able to handle 6 or 7 things at the same time per zombie (so each zombie must have a unique code so as not to interfere with the code of another).
11. If you really want "a game that you can play and enjoy" and not have "a game that just has potential", I advise you to set your filter to show only completed games, this will prevent you from seeing a game that is only at V0.06 (it's very far from the completed game).

You can see the durability points of each weapon in your inventory (and repair it here) and if you upgrade Kate's workshop to lvl4, you unlock the small weapon repair kit (lvl5 for the armor one). The wooden stick has a lifespan of 50 uses but this can be increased up to 100 times (with the repair kit).

The damage of the wooden stick will be decreased in the next version, but the damage of the hero will be increased. There are also more powerful weapons in V0.07 with more durability.

Ok, I suggest you add this advice to the game notes/walkthrough available in the room. I would never think of checking the weapon status in the inventory regularly. Thanks

It's true that I forgot to put explanations for durability and how to use the repair.

I'm looking into adding a tooltip that appears before the game map to indicate which area you're in with the zombie rank and the amount of resources received from searching ruined houses. And if I can do that, I'll also add the durability of the weapon so you don't have to search through the inventory.

PS : Just in case, if you lose your weapon in combat because it breaks, there are 2 guns to be found right now in the game (unbreakable). whoever receives this weapon gets a spell that uses AP (ammo points). Max AP is at 0 but there are also ammo magazines to find and give to fighters (each one gives +5AP Max and there are always 1 near a gun). I forgot to say that before. You also need Sophia to earn AP.

They are not very far from the starting point. Just follow the "to do" part in your notebook to get the crowbar and once you have it, go explore the houses with the doors tucked in.

great RPGM game, really liked the story and characters.

This game is needlesly grindy.. ... 50 metal for gates.. I really want to like this game bit this early grind is making it really hard. Way too much combat forced with shatty gear, zombie interuption chance is like 50% at least... way to often.. and the combat is not very fun.. its very repetitive. I could not find any settings you mentioned somewhere to make it easier. Too often stashes give nothing or resource nodes give 1.. also I have no idea how to get better weapons.. how to upgrade workshop? but then again.. I guess better weapons use even more mats.. yeah I know, i just suck and dont deserve opinion and you tell me something witty again.. I have given into quite many patreon games in the past, but I am quite hesitant with this one with the replies have gotten from dev. Make at least saving/loading possible everywhere not only in bed. Oh.. greetings from police stations.. relatively long run.. was about to finish it.. then I missed twice... bye bye 20minutes.

I don't see where I answered you wrong and I prefer to list when it comes to talking about several different topics. And I've never insulted anyone, the only criticism I usually make is that you have to read what is displayed on the screen because most of the explanations are given there (except for the durability of the equipment that I had forgotten but which was added for V0.09). Otherwise, here's a list to answer about the game.

1. There are enough piles of metal to pick up in the farm to build the gates. Portals are part of the introduction so there's no need to leave the base to build them.
2. Once you've recruited Elisabeth, she'll make you blueprints to upgrade the different houses on the base, The workshop is in the living room of the 2nd house so you just have to upgrade the living room of the 2nd house in the construction book in your bedroom.
3. Combat chance is 30% at the moment, but this has just been reduced to 20% in V0.08 for house search.
4. The search in houses currently only gives 1 (except for seeds) but this has just been changed with the introduction of the 2nd and 3rd area with stronger zombies and more equipment in V0.08. There is an 80% chance of getting a reward and you have 1/3 of having either seeds, a drink or something else (metal, rope or food).
5. If you recruit Sophia, you'll have the option to have another workshop to create items to throw at zombies in combat and if you recruit Lin, she has a lab to create potions for combat (healing, def+ and damage+).
6. Rank2 weapons (i.e. more powerful) are added in V0.07.
7. NPCs use a bed to sleep where you recruit them. These can be used to back up too, usually, they say so.
8. Fights can be avoided when a zombie runs towards you, just run. If you haven't enabled the "always run" in the settings, you need to press a key for the hero to run.
9. For the end of your post, I didn't understand what you mean but it takes me 30 seconds or even 40 to get from the base to the police station and I manage to recruit Sophia by doing only 1 fight because the zombie saw me and I thought I was going to pass by without him touching me.. I don't see why the 20 minutes. Is it your playing time?

PS : I don't see what's grindy. Here's a little printscreen I made next to the base entrance. What is circled in blue gives food, in yellow = stone and in red = wood. This image represents 5% of the base region. Don't forget to check out the to see the full list of collectible items or review all the explanations of the game.
