“Finally” Nick said with a satisfied tone, it was the end of the day and he could finally go home, which he was looking forward to after his long and stressful day. It was late and quite dark out but as he was walking along he saw an old lady crossing the road, a car was speeding towards her at a rapid pace, seeming to not see her at all. Thinking quickly Nick ran up to her and pulled her out of the way, narrowly saving her from getting hit by the car. The old woman thanked Nick and gave him something, it was a small vial filled with a liquid that had red and white swirls in it. She claimed that drinking it would cause his deepest desire to be granted. Nick accepted the gift and said farewell to the old woman. As he walked home he was still rather surprised by the whole event, everything had happened so suddenly he had barely had time to process everything. Little did he know however that due to the woman he helped, having been a witch, his life was going to change forever. At home
