I never liked it either, except on certain tracks where it blended in. This was the first video I ever edited, mistakes were made but wrt the block it was a lot less prevalent but when I first released it, everyone complained they couldn't hear it and wanted it louder and more up-front. These days, I do it via bpm-manipulating software, back then I sync'd it up by hand in Audacity
